MUMBAI MEGA BLOCK HARBOUR, WESTERN, CENTRAL LINES SEPTEMBER 09, 2012
Central Railway and Western Railways announced,Mumbai Local Train passengers will face Mega Block on Sunday 09 - 09 - 2012.
KURLA - MASJID AND VADALA ROAD - MAHIM STATIONS
CST - Bandra - Andheri (11:00 am to 3:00 pm)
Dn Harbour line services to Bandra or Andheri leaving CST from 10.20 am to 4.04 pm and Up Harbour line services to CST leaving Nerul from 10:40 am to 3:45 pm and will remain suspended.
Panvel - CST (11:00 am to 3:00 pm)
Up Harbour line services from Panvel / Belapur / Vashi towards CST leaving Kurla from 10.43 am to 3.48 pm will run via Main line between Kurla and CST. Will not halt at Currey Road and Chinchpokli stations.
Harbour line passengers for Bandra or Andheri are permitted to travel Via Main line and Western Railway from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm on 9.9.2012.
WESTERN LINE
Marine Lines - Mahim Junction (10:35 am to 3:35 am)
Jumbo block will be taken from 10.35 am to 3.35 am on 09 - 09 - 2012 on Dn Slow lines between Marine Lines and Mahim Junction. All Dn slow trains will run on Dn through fast lines between Marine Lines and Mahim Jn. stations. These diverted trains will not halt at Mahalaxmi, Elphinstone Road and Matunga Road for want of platform, hence passengers are allowed to travel in opposite direction for their destinations between Bandra and Mumbai Central stations. All 12 car slow services will take double halt at Lower Parel and Mahim Jn. Due to the block, some up and down suburban trains will remain cancelled.

Dn slow line services leaving Mulund from 10.35 am to 3.28 pm will diverted to Dn fast lines between Mulund and Kalyan.
During the block period Dn slow line services will not be available at Kalva, Mumbra, Diva, Kopar and Thakurli stations. Passengers are permitted to travel via Dombivli or Kalyan stations in Up direction.
