Southern Railways announced new Onam Special Trains 2012 from Bangalore for avoiding extra rush of passengers. Following are the details

1. Train No. 06543 / 06544 Yesvantpur – Ernakulam Jn. weekly express specials: Train No.06543 Yesvantpur – Ernakulam Jn. Special will leave Yesvantpur at 09.15 hrs. on 20.8.2012, 27.8.2012 & 03.9.2012 and arrive Ernakulam Jn. at 21.30 hrs. the same day.  Train No. 06544 Ernakulam Jn. – Yesvantpur Special will leave Ernakulam Jn. at 23.00 hrs. on 20.8.2012, 27.8.2012 & 03.9.2012 and arrive Yesvantpur at 12.00 hrs. the next day.The composition of the trains will be 1 AC 2-tier,1 AC 3-tier coaches, 7 Sleeper Class,6 General Second Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The trains will stop at Banaswadi, Krishnarajapuram, Bangarpet, Kuppam, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Ottapalam, Thrissur and Aluva.
2. Train No. 06549 / 06550 Yesvantpur – Ernakulam Jn. Garib Rath Express specials:  Train No. 06549 Yesvantpur – Ernakulam Jn. Special will leave Yesvantpur at 21.00 hrs. on27.8.2012 and 29.8.2012 and arrive Ernakulam Jn. at 08.10 hrs. the next day.  Train No. 06550 Ernakulam Jn. – Yesvantpur Special will leave Ernakulam Jn. at 15.30 hrs. on 28.8.2012 and 30.8.2012 and arrive Yesvantpur at 04.00 hrs. the next day.The composition of the trains will be 16 AC 3-tier and2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The trains will stop at Banaswadi, Hosur, Dharmapuri, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Ottapalam, Thrissur and Aluva. Train No.06549 will stop at Ernakulam town also.
3. Train No. 06515 / 06516 Yesvantpur – Tirunelveli Garib Rath specials:  Train No. 06515 Yesvantpur – Tirunelveli Special will leave Yesvantpur at 21.00 hrs. on 20.8.2012 and 22.8.2012 and arrive Tirunelveli at 09.40 hrs. the next day.  Train No. 06516 Tirunelveli – Yesvantpur Special will leave Tirunelveli at 14.45 hrs. on 21.8.2012 and 23.8.2012 and arrive Yesvantpur at 04.00 hrs. the next day.The composition of the trains will be 16 AC 3-tier and2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The trains will stop at Banaswadi, Hosur, Dharmapuri, Salem, Erode, Karur, Dindigul, Kodaikanal Road, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Sattur, Kovilpatti and Vanchi Maniyachchi.
