On the July 13, IRCTC recorded ticket booking total of 4.95 Lac. This considered to be a total of 9 Lac passengers tickets. Earlier it was 3.60 Lac tickets average per day only.
Recently Indian Railways blocked 5 lac multiple personal user-ids and 44,000 multiple IDs created by agents. Tatkal ticket new rules got railways a positive feedback says chairman of Railway Board Vinay Mittal to one of the famous media India.
I think IRCTC booking average will increase more than this very soon. What is your opinion

Without increasing the the number of trains as well as boggies, the booking increase will be useless. This is not a proper time to comment. Actually, the actual performance will be examined at the time of rush hour, I mean at the time of dushehara or deepawali. In that all the boasting of IRCTC and indian railways will be exposed. whenever IRCTC will work as a Govt deptt then the performance can not be increased. and till the moment of thinking of privatization of railway all the problems of passengers will continue. You can see the example of telecome, when there was a monopoly of BSNL the call charges was very high. but after entering the pvt companies you can see the call charges becomes as negligible and services are significant are improved. Finally, GOD BLESS INDIAN RAILWAY AND IRCTC.
ReplyDeleteCHENNAI=PALGHAT/PALAKKAD reservation is always full. One Superfast train CHENNAI CENTRAL-PALAKKAD-CHENNAI CENTRAL is withdrawan due to polictical reaons. Without increasing the trains and boggies there is no use. Please increase the speed of the trains. I request you to make wider the enterance gate space in coacheswhich is not possiable for the passengers to enter into it.
