  1. Passengers should be given an option to buy platform tickets when they are booking tickets through online or at counter. I went o Bangalore railway station to send off my relatives but I have missed a train due to heavy crowd at ticket counter and I was not able to user automatic machine was as I did not have coins.

  2. There was no option to buy platform ticket for senior citizen travelling alone. I have asked the police, customer service desk, Ticket counter and security guards for the same.I had no choice rather enter the station without ticket as my mother (65 yr age) coming from kolkata with luggage and she can't speak/read Hindi and there was nobody who can guide her till the exit gate. No special help for senior citizen travelling alone. So this became a huge problem who travel alone. A Govt. body can't force people not to obey rules as the rules are not made for convenience for the public.

  3. Platform ticket is imported with ladies and senior citizen ticket, there is must an option with these QUOTA in IRCTC.
OR allowed one person in platform having copy of these ticket

  4. It seems when (Platform Ticket) rule came into picture Railways had a good chance of fetching out money from People's pocket and overall Railways Officials who are there to perform their Duties in regards to check the Tickets when a Person is coming out of the Exits don't even know how to speak or deal with anyone and are not even too Professional - Need to change their Mental Setup.

Railways should have either thought of a good plan in situations like : Ladies with Big Luggage and Senior Citizens or say very Old people and disabled persons - who can't even stand at the crowded windows for Platform Tickets
Situations where People or their Relatives or Loved Ones coming to help them and so getting late for the Train departure and may not be able to get a Platform Ticket - Atleast Railways either should Add a Link with IRCTC to get Platform Ticket a day before or say atleast few hours before the Train timings.
